The Airway Heights Recreation Center has a number of wonderful rooms for rent at affordable rates for community members, businesses, and groups to host events, meetings, gatherings, or parties.
Rental Classifications Categories:
Category I
- Private non-commercial events, activities where attendance is restricted, group activities not selling a product or service.
Category II
- Meetings, educational, recreational, and cultural programs open to the public and activities of non-profit organizations that have been authorized by the Parks & Recreation Department will receive a 15% discount.
Party Room
Party On!
The Recreation Center has a Party Room available for private parties. The full room can accommodate up to 26 people (max) and each half can have up to 13 people. Base rentals of the Party Room include the family changing rooms, tables, and chairs.
Decorations may be brought and set up as long as they are not damaging to the facility when they are set up or taken down.
Renters and/or other parents/guardians will be required to watch and maintain control of all Party Room attendants while within the facility. For a full list of the policies for Party Room rentals, check out our Party Policies Form.

Party Room Rental (Pool usage requires Day Rate purchases)
Half Room: $50 for 3 hours. 13 people max.
Full Room: $100 for 3 hours, 26 people max.
Damage Deposit: $50/Room
Pool Party Package (includes Pool usage for all Guests)
Half Room: $100 for 3 hours. 13 people max.
Full Room: $200 for 3 hours, 26 people max.
Damage Deposit: $50/Room
There are specific times that the Party Room can be rented to coincide with Open Swim hours. They are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 12:00-3:00PM
Saturday – Sunday: 12:00-3:00PM
or 3:30-6:30PM
Banquet Rooms
Have a business function or social event? Our Banquet Rooms are perfect for receptions, banquets, large parties, community, or corporate events. With over roughly 3,000sqft, this large multi-purpose space can be arranged in many different setups, as well as divided into two separate rooms. Depending on the setup of the room, it can accommodate between 50-125 people.
Banquet Rooms are available for 1-4 hour blocks. Additional hour fees apply for rentals over 4 hours. Rentals may not exceed up to 6 hours per reservations.
All room reservations require that an the Banquet Room Rental Form be filled out and that a deposit and rental fee (if required) be paid at the time of the initial request.
Audio Video equipment is available for functions with presentations, music, or speakers.

Meeting Room
The Meeting Room is a 450sqft room setup to accommodate meeting of up 20 people. Equipped with a big screen TV for presentations, a whiteboard for fleshing out ideas, a sink, and refrigerator, this space is perfect for group and board style meetings, or small luncheons.
The Meeting room is available for up to 2 hours. Additional rates apply reservations over 2 hours.
Audio Video equipment is available for functions with presentations, music, or speakers. AV pricing is dependent on which equipment is being rented. Speak with the Guest Services Department for more information on AV equipment pricing.

Rental Rules
- Failure to or misrepresentation of the size of your group will result in the forfeiture of your deposit
- It shall be the responsibility of the user to conduct their activities in a manner that does not interfere with use of other sections of the building by other persons.
- Any rental only includes access to that space within the facility.
- It shall also be the user’s responsibility to clean the premises upon the conclusion of the rental.
- The City reserves the right to deny use privileges to any group that fails to meet these responsibilities.
- The City shall retain so much of the security deposit as is necessary to cover any costs to the City for repairing or cleaning the premises or if the rental exceeds the rental time. The user shall remain liable for any costs incurred by the City for cleaning and repair beyond the deposit amount.
- All uses are subject to cancellation at any time, if the City deems it necessary for the City to use the space during any time period.
- No person shall be permitted to use the facility without first obtaining City approval.
- City staff reserves the right to limit the use of any single group if that use restricts the availability of the facility for other groups.
- Smoking and vaping is prohibited within the interior of the facility and within 25 feet of the facility.
- Alcohol possession and consumption is prohibited within the facility.
- Maximum occupancy as posted shall not be violated.
- If state or county permits are required for service and preparation of food and/or beverages, they must be obtained and confirmed with the City prior to facility use.
- The City reserves the right to institute additional rules regarding the use of the facility.
Failure to observe the use rules for the facility may result in denial of future use or the requirement for additional damage deposits prior to allowing future use
