MEMBERSHIP INSURANCE FITNESS PROGRAMS
The Airway Heights Recreation Center accepts the following insurance programs: Silver & Fit, Active & Fit, Renew Active, One Pass and now FIT ON Health! Programs allow qualifying individuals to receive a no-cost membership covered under their insurance plans. If you are interested in finding out if you are eligible, contact your insurance provider, or visit the Rec Center and check with Guest Services.
Eligibility
Active&Fit & Silver&Fit is provided by American Specialty Health (ASH) and is designed as a Medicare beneficiary through many insurance companies’ Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans.
Renew Active is for members of an eligible Medicare Advantage plan insured by UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company or one if its affiliate companies in participating states.
RenewActive has expanded their offerings to allow “One Pass Medicare and Medicaid”

Becoming a Member With Health Benefits
New and existing members can provide their health benefit account number to the Front Desk/Guest Services to be added to their applicable program roster.

New Members
(Past participants of Airway Heights Parks and Recreation programs and activities may already have accounts.)
- Click on the ‘Log In/Create Account’ and, on the next page, select ‘Create AHPR Account’
- Complete Step 1: Account Holder Information
Notes:- Be case sensitive and check for spelling errors.
- Provide as much contact information as possible for all account members, phone numbers with labels, as well as additional email addresses.
- Residential address should be used, not mailing address.
- Click Next Step: Other Account Members
- Enter information of all individual members of your account.
- Note: Family membership rates only apply to account members listed as dependents on Tax Returns.
- Check to ensure all information is entered accurately, click ‘Save & Close’
Once your account is created log into your account and get familiar with your new AHPR account. Here you can provide your required picture on file for each individual account member.
Picture requirements:
- Clear plain background
- Top of head to mid-chest in height
- No sunglasses
- No hats
- Please no silly faces
Past & Current Program Participants:
As a past participant of Airway Parks & Recreation Programs you already have an account ready for membership. To start your membership process, log into your current account and be sure to update all required information:
- All Phone numbers with labels
- Primary and secondary emails
- Resident address not mailing address
- Account members Photos (see above Picture Requirements)
Finalize Membership
Once your account is officially created you are ready to become a new member! Memberships are done in person at the Airway Heights Recreation Center at 11405 W. Deno Rd, Airway Heights, WA 99224.
Be sure to bring:
- Completed Membership Application Click HERE to print. (Also available at Rec Center at time of membership)
- Current Tax return documents stating dependents for family membership rates
- To receive resident rates bring a current copy one of the below qualifying documents sating service location:
- City of Airway Heights Water Bill
- Waste Management Statement
- Avista Utilities or Inland Power Statement
- Comcast, DirecTV, or Dish Statement
Youth Facility Access
- Refer to the Child & Youth Facility Access Chart for a detailed breakdown of Youth Facility Access by area and age.
- Ages 6 and under must have direct supervision at all times by a parent or guardian, or be signed into Child Watch area.
- Ages 7-11 must be accompanied by a supervising individual who remains in the building.
- Ages 12 and up may use the facility without adult supervision.
- Youth under the age of 11 are not permitted on the fitness floor. Youth between 11-17 may use the Fitness Floor after they register for and complete the Youth Fitness Orientation.
- Children 4 years and older must use the appropriate locker rooms.
- Family Changing Rooms are available.
Dues
- Membership payments are due on either the 5th or 20th of each month, and will be automatically paid with a required card on file. Payments may be made prior to the billing date to avoid automatic withdrawals but a card is still required on file.
- If a prospective member is interested in starting their membership prior to the dues date, a prorated rate may be paid for each day prior to the membership start date at the time of registration.
- Membership dues will be collected for only one month at the time of initial registration. If payment is not received within the month, either due to lack of funds or incorrect information on the account, that month will be considered the last month and membership will be terminated at the end of that month.
- Cancellation of membership requires completed Membership Cancellation slip available at Recreation Center Front Desk, or via email to parksandrec@cawh.org stating account holders Name and intent to cancel.
- Cancellation of membership requires 2 weeks prior notice from the bill date.
