Welcome to the Fitness Floor!

The Fitness Floor offers something for everyone of all fitness levels. Covering over 8,200 square feet, it offers a wide-open layout while separating weights, cardio, and sectorized equipment that features:

  • 4,100sqft weight room with dumbbells up to 130lbs and the latest Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment
  • 30ft Cross Training Rig with battle ropes and Kettlebells up to 100lbs
  • 700sqft of indoor turf, including tire flips, a sled, and box jumps
  • 4,100sqft Cardio Floor including the latest Life Fitness cardio equipment
  • Group Fitness Studio Including ICG Bikes and a full slate of step, strength, and kettlebell equipment
  • And much more

Fitness Floor & Studio Rules:

  • Re-rack your weights and return your equipment
  • Wipe down equipment after use
  • No dropping or slamming of weights, loud machine use, or excessive noise
  • No saving equipment and allow others to work in
  • 30-minute time limit on cardio during peak times, or when others are waiting
  • No outside equipment (bands, chains, or attachments) unless approved
  • Gym bags or personal items must be stored in lockers or cubbies and off the floor
  • Unauthorized personal or group training is prohibited
  • Headphones are required for all personal listening devices
  • Shirts, appropriate workout attire, and athletic shoes required. Open-toed shoes and jeans are prohibited
  • Do not enter the Fitness Studio when class is in session.

  • Fitness Studio Equipment may not be taken out to the Fitness Floor

Fitness Floor Age Requirements

    • Children 10 and under not allowed on the fitness floor.
    • Ages 11-13 must be supervised by an adult.
    • Ages 11-17 must complete a Youth Fitness Orientation prior to exercising.

Youth Fitness Orientation (YFO)

The YFO introduces young members ages 11-17 to the Rec Center Fitness Floor, teaching them gym etiquette and protocol, proper machine and equipment use, Fitness Floor Rules, and of course, safety.
